I ran out of gas on Tuesday, even though my car said I still had 20 miles left. Fortunately, my car finally gave up across the street from the gas station, so I went over to buy a can of gas. As it turns out, the gas can had a leaky rubber seal, so I managed to spill gas all over my hands while trying to fill up my tank. Also, it had some kind of "spill proof" nozzle which required me to shove the nozzle into the hole before anything would go in. When I finally finished putting the gas in the car, the stupid nozzle was stuck in the gas hole until a random jogger helped me yank it out.

After all that was finished, I was still left with leftover gas in the tank. After driving to work, I didn't want to leave the gas can in the car for fear of spontaneous combustion, so I just left it out next to a tree by my car in the parking lot. I was thinking that maybe the security people would see it and think it's some kind of security threat and take it away. Sure enough, when I went back to the car, the gas can was gone. Bet it made the security people feel useful.
