DDR Freak
This is my pet project and side business. I started it out as a small Northern California DDR site and it has since evolved into something more global in focus. There is a volunteer staff of about 25 people whom I try to manage.
Piano
I started playing piano when I was 4, stopped at 19, and continued again at 22. I don't practice as much as I used to, but I still find it very enjoyable to play. I am currently working on: Chopin - Fantasie Impromptu, Beethoven - Sonata Pathetique, and Debussy - Claire de Lune. Yes, the Romantic period is my favorite. =)
Pool
I started playing pool with Andrew Lin around Spring 2002 because we were bored. We are now in an APA League team, the Balls in Hand, with a few other Berkeley people, playing against other teams on Wednesdays. My current level is 3 (ranges from 2 to 7, 7 being the best), and my record is about even.
Golf
I got into golf because of my coworkers, and I really suck. I usually play at small 9 hole courses, but I occasionally play 18 hole courses as well. My best scores have been 37 at Sunken Gardens (9 hole, par 29), and 55 at Tilden Park (front 9, par 35).
Ice Skating
Yeah, yeah, I know this is a feminine sport, but it's fun. I have my own pair of figure skates. I used to take lessons at Ice Center in San Mateo, but I hurt my foot taking off from a stupid half-jump and haven't really gone back to it since. I would like to eventually be able to do spins and full revolution jumps, oh, and maybe a death spiral if I can get someone to trust me with it =P.
