Wow. What a difference. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the break room, which was filled with organic fruits, nuts, chips, breakfast bars, and various other snacks. This is not HP.
I felt an enthusiasm from the employees, who actually like what they do and are excited by that. The office building is made of 4' high cubes, which don't allow for much privacy. I'm not quite used to that yet, but I can definitely see how it can foster a more productive environment. In the meetings, I can actually understand what people are talking about. No foreign abbreviations like DRD or PI or EPM, EVM, WBEM, etc., but simple stuff the average consumer can understand. Photo kiosks, 4x6, albums.
Obviously I'm still in the "honeymoon period," but has been a great start, and I hope it lasts! |
