For some reason, I was reading old emails today. It's hilarious what I used to write about six years ago! For example:

Dear dining service manager,
I am a resident at Unit 3, and I was shocked by the level of service I was given at the DC on Tuesday, March 30. They were serving red beans and rice, each stored separately. I do not eat beans, so I asked if I can have rice only, along with another entree. I was told that "rice and beans go together." Ha ha, I thought this was a joke. Asking for rice only again, I was again told, "rice and beans go together, and I will not break the rules." I was amazed that the dining services would go so much out of the way to encourage wasting food! If I want rice only, and you give me beans and rice, do you think I will eat the beans as well? Obviously not. I understand that predicting what students will eat is a hard task, but forcing us to eat or waste food is another matter. After this episode, I went to the other line, thinking that the DC workers there would be more reasonable. Again I asked for rice only, and again, I got the same response. Finally, I took a bowl from the salad bar, and asked them to put the rice in there, and put the beans in a separate place.
The end result: I finally got to eat the rice alone, but all the beans were wasted and thrown away.
Can you please give me a reasonable explanation for this, and if there is no reasonable explanation, then please stop this practice of forcing unwanted food onto people's plates.

Today we met with our production staff and discussed your concerns from Tuesday's dinnner. Our staff has been instructed to offer rice for all meals so you will be able to have rice with another entree you choose. I really do apologize for this and I do appreciate your promptness in e-mailing us your concerns. It is easier for us to take care of your concerns!!

Here's another one from me: "I am a Computer Science student and I am greatly interested in the Poli Sci curriculum".

Since when was I ever remotely interested in Poli Sci? I don't ever recall taking a single class in Poli Sci, nor being interested in it! Maybe all that CS partying damaged my memory.
